Persephone is named for the queen of the underworld, and this complex knot holds the same mystery. The scale is hand-inked using brilliant alcohol inks. Made from anodized aluminum, these earrings are exceptionally lightweight – you’ll forget you’re even wearing them, except for the compliments you’ll get!
These earrings will handle daily life without ever tarnishing. The hand-inked scales are more delicate, and contact with alcohol (including perfumes or sprays) should be avoided. Aluminum is MUCH lighter than steel or titanium, but very durable. Those with nickel or other metal sensitivities can wear anodized aluminum without concern. All hooks and posts are made from 316 stainless steel (also known as surgical steel).
Each pair of earrings is handmade, opening and closing each ring individually as it is woven together.
